If you do go down, check out Shapwick Heath as well, it's just the other side of the road, and I think it has better Marshie views, from Noah's Hide 
Thanks Jack.... I was surprised about herons in the reedbed too, a regular said there were 4 or 5 nests. I was surprised by the Heron on a nest shot as I thought they nested in Heronries up in trees.
