We decided on a more relaxed day, and I went for a wander round Lady Fen (where the hare walk was), whilst Mrs PB stayed in the cottage and read and then we met for a bite to eat in the cafe (a very nice sausage egg and bacon panini) and some time in the hide again

Well you certainly weren't short on things to photograph PB...Teddy deer is that really its name lol

Thanks William, it's a bit of a shame the light wasn't better earlier in the walk, but there was certainly plenty to see, and it stayed dry :)

Thanks Bob, I couldn't believe the numbers of Lapwing, nor work out why they'd all take off together, have a bit of a murmuration, then settle again. It wasn't until I saw the pics at home on the big screen I realised there were Golden Plover in the flocks too. If I thought of it I should have done a video, but the 4 photo's of distant specks was a sort of panorama view with my smaller lens on, to try and give an idea of the numbers

Thanks Linda, they were Chinese Water Deer, not sure of you zoom in or not, but some have fangs lol

Another great selection of photo's and subjects PB. I do like your Marsh Harrier with it's landing gear down... :laugh:

Thanks Snappy.... It didn't land :D Was fab watching it from afar cruising so slowly along the field margin getting closer and closer
