Last Sunday on the BBC show Countryfile we watched three judges led by John Craven select the 12 wildlife photos to represent the months of the year. In past years the choices have been excellent in the main but in my humble opinion this years selection do not measure up. We were shown the judging panel sifting through the last 240 images and many of them shown were very good and would have graced anyone's wall. some of the choices I rate as OK but the remainder mediocre.
This, of course, is just the opinion of one person and I'm sure people will still buy them but not me this year.

I tend to agree with you, some of the others were more appealing than the selected 12
