Finally managed to get out for an hour this morning, before the rain, so a catch up of the last few days in the garden

See your garden ain't that quiet after all, you should spend more time in it than wanting to always go out on adventures 😂 (says me that just had to go out on Saturday to Caerlaverock 😋) Must admit I have a soft spot for the doves , they tend to visit early in morning here...not that I get them too often...Nice variety PB

I have not yet seen a small tortoiseshell, they used to be one of the most common garden butterflies around here :( Nice selection PB. I have the doves, never on the feeder though. They patrol under it, waiting for the goldfinch discards...

What did you see at Caerlaverock Linda ? We went to the WWT (had bullfinch...) but hardly stopped raining.... moved on to the castle :)

Well I saw...MY 1st EVER marsh harrier ....we went to castle 1st as that OHs thing 😂

Och a didn't take that many lol :shake: I think I enjoyed it more when a went in winter and saw the millions of geese but it was still nice to visit on a summery day......loads of walking!!!

A marsh harrier was a nice result, you never know where some of these birds will turn up :laugh:
