Fasciation

I get lots of fasciation on my plants, nobody seems to know the exact cause, I'm thinking it's maybe something in the soil. This was a toadflax from last year, I was impressed!

Me neither, until the mutant flax! Although we probably have seen it and just not registered what it was.
The bees liked it, there was about 50 times more flowers on one stem!
