Never seen a Dinosaurmorant sitting on the grass before
Mrs fox looks like she's feeding youngsters
And the shelduck finally came a little closer
Canada Geese are evil to them greylag

I suppose the Canada could be breeding, Linda, so defensive of territory. (Or that could be completely made up tosh, who knows!) Did you get all otter arty-farty? Or is it april fools nessie? Cormorants are known to sit on the grass when they've been up a tree, or on a log too long, it's soothing. (That IS completely made up tosh)

Nice shots anywho :D

Pmsl....there is about 30 Canada Geese further up on the carbans pond but they like to come down and boss others about. Otter was being a wee sneaky bampot!! It was right next to me when a was on ma knees on the bank but had to be loads of foliage between us. Only you would know about them dinosaurmorants PB 😆

Nice find Linda and they are posing. I need to go and look for some, probably wait for after the Easter holidays for my spot.

Well spotted Linda. Apparently all 3 summer speed merchants have been in through Portland this last week. Hopefully not long til the housemartins are back next door 🤞
