Thanks again Willpar. That Magpie seems to be liking the catering. For a moment I thought the mouse had become the cat's supper.

Thank you JS. the mice seem to climb through the hedge, hence the cats stare. Did not realize just how often the magpies come into the garden. Seems that was the last visits of the hedgehogs. Not had any or around three weeks now.

Is that time of the month again for a new video. The very last in the series for this year. Highlights, big bird pays a visit, and a visitor to the bird bath that I have not seen in a few winters.

Well done Willpar. The Thrush and the Blackcap were a treat.

Thank you JS. Did not think thrush as I thought it was on the small side, thank you for that one. Good to see the blackcap, first one in several years.

The new year has got off to a good start. So there is 19 minutes of video this time. Highlights has to be the small winter visitors male and female? That have become a fixture for the moment. Another highlight has to be big bird. Did not think I would have a bigger one than the gulls visit the garden, but yes, a whopper turned up and a first for me. So all in all a good start to the new year.

Thank you JS. The blackcap is so agile getting into the hanging feeder. I know there are two of them as when one was on the birdbath the other was in the hedge. I think now that perhaps both males. Was surprised to see the hedgehog or two. But only came in a couple of times. There is one hibernating in the box at the end of the path.
The pheasant was a total surprise to see, don't think it has come back though.

Just to let you know, there is no wild westcountry for January. Got beat by the weather and when i did get out there was nothing of note to video. So the half a dozen clips I did get will put into February. But the snowdrops are out and some early daffodils.

Another feature length edition for February. Am allowed 20 minutes, so packed in as much as could. Highlights was the smallest bird popping up everywhere, and thought would steal the show. That was until another visitor came in, but who stole the show?

Excellent as per usual. The mouse population on the increase and it was good to see the Wren. You saved the best to nearly last. I won't spoil the surprise for other viewers.
