So one decided....yet again to treat oneself and give a mirrorless camera a go....for the second time!At least this time am on day 3 of receiving the goods and still have them in my possession
I was very attached to my bridge cameras for the laziness side of things but soon found trying to photograph the owls rather frustrating and with sound advice from many fellow birding pals....you know who you all are....

I finally was brave enough to unpack the goodies yesterday morning and have a wee play around in the garden and fair to say I only had one meltdown

I must have took well over 300 pics and then only kept 8...that's a miracle for me

Well done Linda nothing wrong with those... The first two magpie photo's are my favourites, always nice to catch some action Now bullfinch....

Thanks SM .....its not that I didn't take bullfinch pics...maggies were just more playful than the boring greedy bullies

They are belters for a first go Linda, balancing the colours between the finches is a trick in itself. 1/10000 seems a bit quick to me for a perched bird, but what do I know??
