Some lovely colourful flowers there William, and nice to see the mallards doing what they do!! Interesting stonework too... and it that your recommendation as a local ?

Thank you PB, Quite liked the flowers against the dark background. Make a point of going to the lakes at least once a month, but was very quiet on that visit. Not my local, Have never been inside that one. Is quite near the water. Gave up drinking years ago to widen my horizon, in the way of holidays.

For a short while I thought it was only yourself left alive in the west country. Thank goodness the man and his dog turned up.

A great selection of flowers William, identifying them I leave to google... Some nice scenery about as well.

Thank you JS, does look that way being the only one. The man and hid dog gave interest to the shot, did not know he was there, same with the pub one. But as they were walking away was ok. Have to watch it though, some may not like it.

Thank you Snappy, a bit of a drift from what I normally do, but was quite interesting. And hopefully, others will like it.

The video for July has landed, and it was hot. Had some ice forages down the woods, and managed to get some clips of the more rarer visitors to our shores.

Impressive chicken of the woods fungi William. Well done with the hummingbird hawk-moths, they do dart about. Great moth and butterfly selection, nice ending with the clouded yellows.

Thank you Snappy, the woods do turn up some great stuff, especially in the autumn. Went down there to keep out of the sun, not a great fan of that sort of heat. The last week managed to spot 6 cloudy yellows, that is quite remarkable. The HBHM are just a couple of hundred yards from me, so went over there quite often when they were about. But a great month all round.
