Linda257 wrote: Thu Sep 11, 2025 7:36 am Now that is perfectly timed SM...I watch gannets all day, such a stunning bird
Thanks Linda :D First time I have seen any on the water, normally just see them flying from cliffs. I would like to be close up when they dive in...
You can get a boat trip to see the gannets at Bempton I think Snappy, if you're heading north. Can't remember the town...Bridlington possibly, will double check

He is absolutely beautiful Kevin! Of all the birds the Great Tits and Blue Tits are my favorites as my balcony and garden are full of them the entire day! 🐦🌿🐦😄🐦🌿🐦
He really is and I can see why are your favourites - they must be lovely to watch
My south facing balcony overlooks my triangle shaped garden flanked by various lilac bushes and on the west balcony end I built an open air green house out of wooden slats and bamboo for my raspberry bushes.

Both Great Tits and Blue Tits fly in together in swoops all day long (sometimes bringing Chiffchaffs along) for the feeder, suet-ball cage and bird bath with fountain there.

They really love all the varoius bamboo rods every which way in there and do acrobatics, comedy and 'Spitfite dog-fights' to and from my balcony the entire day. I absolutely love them! 🐦♥️🐦
