Woke up to about an inch or two snow covering even though the weather forecasters thought it would only be high ground affected. I don't live in the hills. It has slowly thawed during the day but there is still some lying where there has been no traffic.

The warmest spell here was first thing in the morning, and that was 10c. By mid afternoon it was around 6c. No snow but showers throughout the morning.

Frosty start, even the birdbath had some ice in it. A couple of showers in the morning with a little sleet. I see there is a dusting of snow on the moors. High of 7c.

Quite heavy snow at the moment here. Though it is probably too wet for it to settle as we have had a lot of rain here as well.

Snow never came to anything, though it only lasted an hour. Some places in Deon and Cornwall had a fair amount. High of 5c.

Mix of cloud and sunshine today. A bit warmer with a high of 8c.

Bert is well and truly here with high winds and plenty of rain. Upside is that its warmer a nice balmy 15c.
