Thank you Butterfly. She was laid to rest a week ago and I have now resumed normal participation.

It's me again with an apology for not posting much at present. I have a few thing going on including my old uncle who is going through a rough patch healthwise. I am just about keeping up with feeding my birds but have no time to stand and stare. I will be keeping a watching brief and hope to contribute when time allows.

Mrs was out last night in the car so I had to go on her bike to the off licence for a bottle of whisky.

Got a nice bottle for £22 and put it in the little basket on the front of the bike. Just before I set off I thought that if I fell off on the way home, it would break and I’d lose it all.

So I decided the best thing to do was to drink it all there and then.

Good job I did, because I fell off the bike eight times on the way home.

I will be away from home for a few days so I am unlikely to post between now and next Tuesday.

Today I had some kind of heart issue 💔 while I was home alone: I was out on the balcony working with my birds and was cleaning up in the bathroom when it hit me as if it was an acute Asthma attack, but I started choking and coughing to the point of hyperventilation, with racing heart, couldn't breath and had dizziness like a 'mini-stroke'. So I dashed into the bedroom to get my phone but blacked out in the doorway, collapsed into my wife's dresser and chair knocking them over and fell across the bed. Alas, my wife was out shopping to pick me up a cash update for my mobile phone. Blasted! It was usless and wouldn't even let me call the emergency number '112' here.
But I came around and the sysptoms subsided after I took my medications. I'm OK now but still have to sit or lie down a lot. It's still a mystery what actually happened and why.

Just rest and take things easy. A chat with your doctor may produce an answer. Sometimes various medications can work together to produce a nasty surprise.
