The first half of June was cool for the time of year. Hardly seeing any butterflies at the moment. The reptiles were out in force which was good. A sprinkling of birds and flowers. A couple of long eared mammals were out grazing. So not a bad month.

As a side note, the reptiles tree branch for sunbathing has been removed by the council.

The sights and sounds of summer. I enjoyed that. The lizards were interesting. There was one with no tail and several looking as though they had lost one and it had re-grown.

July was quite a good month for wildlife. A close encounter with a large mammal, and two baby reptiles just for starters. Plenty of flowers with a sprinkle of birds and bees.

Very good once again. Lots of nice butterflies with an Azure Damselfly to finish. I couldn't ask for more.

August was not too bad a month out and about. Lots of birds on the high wires, reptiles taking in some rays to warm up. Flowers with a few bees and butterflies. Oh, and fungi are beginning to make a show. That was August.
