For those interested, on the springwatch website. Chris Packham and his stepdaughter are doing video podcast together. Go to the springwatch website, click on clips and there are several clips on different pages. So will have to look through the pages to find the first by day and date.

I always find time to watch spring watch, i love to see the baby birds hatching, they grow so quick.
I was in Cheshire last week, while walking along Bridge Water Canal we were met by a family of 7 baby swans with their parents, absolutely gorgeous they were. So trusting too as they floated right up to us.

Adult Swans can be very protective of their cygnets and have no qualms about resorting to violence if necessary. I'm sure the young `uns feel quite safe.

Oh yes i have seen a male swan basically running on the water to see off barking dogs, they will protect their young.

Winterwatch is on BBC2 on the 19th January, @ 8pm. until the 29th. Michaela Wont be on it.

She lives in South Africa. Visitors to the UK from there are banned due to the special type of covid they have there.

Watched most of Winterwatch. Think there was too much of presenters standing in front of cameras, reading off cards and grumbling about the weather. OK some of the topics were interesting but I think most of the public wanted to see action from the cameras. I appreciate that the programmes were live and at night.

Pretty much thought the same. Seems to me they were scrambling for content.

I agree with the above. A week would have been long enough.
I think Chris's stepdaughter has done enough to keep her place on the show. Perhaps the BBC could save some money by not flying Michaela all the way from South Africa
