Heard that the golden eagle is no longer endangered in Scotland due to a 15% increase since 2003. Now over 500 pairs.

Hope the sickos don't take this as an invitation ......

We are in Center Parcs and are sat in our lounge feeding squirrels and ducks from the sofa. They are happy to jump in through the door and eat birdseed.

I'm surprised they come anywhere near the size of those Pompoms. :feedbirds: :bolt: :duck: :squirrel:

I just looked out the window and there was a badger eating the cake crumbs. We did scare him off, but there's loads of food for him out there now :)

I have been, along with other members of this forum, a regular reader of Private Eye magazine for some 15 years. During that time only one person known to myself has had a letter printed. Now out of the blue a second name has rung the bell. This time it is a Royal Naval officer with whom I sailed on a submarine during the early 1970s. You've heard the term "an Officer and a Gentleman",well this one ticked both boxes. :)

 A little-known fact: you get a telegram from The Queen  :trophy: but you don't have to be either an officer or a gentleman. Hislop is more broad-minded than that.

Is this rare event nestling in Pedantry Corner, Jacksparrow ??
