Thanks Linda, he was very colourful. The colour of the male visiting the garden is a lot more muted. With all the sunflower seed it eats, you would thing it should be way brighter

See them over the playing fields a few hundred yards away, but hardly ever in the garden Great one Snappy.

He's a beauty Snappy. and stunning sky to boot! I was about to moan about you always having the blue sky, and it raining here, but then saw the date you took it, and we had blue sky then too
