Was up the baltic Haugh this morning...was absolutely freezing in the hides but once out the hides it was lovely in the sun

Very lovely photos Linda! I like the birds sitting on the fence posts; they bring back childhood memories how birds would sing on the old barbed wire fences before sunset. And I love Magpies too! A female I named "Maggie" visits my balcony for the tray of suet-ball pieces I leave out for her. She flys off with big pieces as 'carry out food'! 😄

Another nice fox Linda :) I like the one of the GWE watching the two ducks with their heads down feeding :laugh:

Thanks Charles the birds on the fence are meadow pipits but they were very long distance away.
Not sure how how you were able to sex your "Maggie" but well done

Cheers SM...that fox always seems to be kicking aboot infront of the hide probably GWE was like wow they are very weird looking ducks :laugh:

Fabulous set Linda, I see you've managed to capture the Gadwall herding the cow through the water, a very rare spectacle! You seem to have got more ducks, are they building up for wintering? Lovely foxy, and the laughing Curlew, super :D

:laugh: Lots of ducks around , I do tent to be ignorant and ignore them as always looking for something different 😆 still awaiting the geese and swansbut a might go down the park this morning and see if they have arrived there.....was lucky to have 3 curlew yesterday
