Yesterdays hare... keeping up posting as they will disappear soon... well that's my excuse.
A couple of young ones. Moved from the usual maize field to the freshly harvested field next door. Loads of activity, making the most before this weeks rain comes, not that we don't need it.

No excuse needed Bob, do you have to go far to find them ?

Amazing clear photos yet again. The one where the hare is looking directly at you and the camera I find most striking.

About a 45 minute walk from home.

Back in amongst the harvest stubble this morning. Making the most of the last few weeks before they become all elusive like. Also the moorland rut will begin then so they planned it well between themselves.

Nice to see them venturing into the sunlight, Bob, makes for properly luvverly shots!

Just the one really popping out. The rest slinked down in to the stubble. Signs of things quietening off.

Not been up really this year to see the red deer. First time in 8 or 9 years I've not spent time there. A shame really. Looking forward to going and seeing whats going on. Lots will be losing the velvet now in readiness.
