Lovely additions Ed, the Lapwing certainly are stonkingly stunning in the sunlight.... although everything looks better in sunshine lol

Lovely photo's Ed, I have only managed a distant photo of a lapping so far. Merlin App agrees with your wigeon.

I guess I could bring along a large step ladder next time I go somewhere. May get some curious glances from people. May get a "you've been framed" moment as well.
