Ham Wall's very good, saw my first Bittern there, and over the road is Shapwick Heath, which is also very good-better than Ham Wall for Marshies. And about half a mile away is Greylake, only been there once and it's a smaller site, but saw bearded tit and water rail. It's a really good area

Worth making a few days of it, if you can get away with it lol... Slimbridge is probably only an hour away too, and Stearte Marshes. For non-birders, Bath, Wells, Bristol are all sort of local
