Good news. I'm a little surprised you have your second appointment already, don't be surprised if it gets changed before the time.

The GP I went to is very well organised. I think they were just making sure if they book the second appointments now, they'll be sure they can fit them in rather than having to get 2nds and 1sts booked at the same time because by then the number of people needing a vaccination will be very high. They even said it'll be at exactly the same time. I don't mind if it slips a little bit, just glad to have one at all! I feel like the light at the end of the tunnel is in sight now, unlike the rest of mainland Europe.

The reason for my comment was my 91 year old uncle's experience. His original 2nd jab appointment was brought forward by 5 days

I think it depends a bit on shipments. My mum should get her 2nd in the next 3 weeks. Her GP seems to be having a little pause to mop up any stragglers that were missed in the first round of anyone over 50.

I had my second jab today along with many others. Most people seem more than happy to have the booster jab. So far(fingers crossed) no side effects.

Good news willpar. Seven days and you will be ready for anything.
