Had a nice visitor in the garden today. Manage to snap one of a pair of Red-legged Partridges walking about on the driveway.

What a great visitor and a good photo.

When I were a lad we always called them "French Partridges" but we never saw them anywhere near the houses.

Great to see in the garden Ed and to get the photo. I have seen a few while driving this year, no photo yet...

Continuing my theme of trying to photo the smaller life in my garden I think i caught an Early Bumblebee.

Possibly a Buf Tailed BB.
PS Like most people I find ID ing BBs vey tricky but a few are easier then most.

Following on from finding Red Legged Partridges in the garden, today we had a visit from a pair of Grey Partridges. Only managed to get one on a photo.
Looking forward to the end of May. I can get my lawn cut.
