The first of 2024 videos from the garden. No new visitors, and got slack at times.

I am intrigued by one of your blackbirds. He/she is light brown with a speckled breast and has a yellow eye ring. Yellow eye rings are only expected to be present in the mature male bird so I'm not sure what you have there.

February has been and gone. Plenty of rain and fogged up lenses. Hanging feeder cam has been playing up. Looks like condensation has got inside. Am drying it out at the moment, but may have to get a new camera.

Thank you JS, yes the hedgehog did a rollie poly. I thought it may have been startled as it looked like it pulled in its head a fraction before falling.

March was not a bad month for the garden visitors. The hanging feeder was very popular with a new visitor. May have called in for a battery recharge while on its way to breeding grounds. But nice to see. Some more biffing at night.

Lovely selection on bird there mate. I am going to be invest in a garden trail camera next.

That one turned out to be the Blackcap show. One more surprise was the Rook. I don't remember seeing one in any of your garden videos before.
