He (Steve) meets the dedicated staff, discovers the stories behind some of the animals being treated before helping to release a now well hedgehog back into the wild, and offers advice on how to make your garden into a welcoming environment for wild things.

A little late for an alert but Chris Packham's programme on BBC4 last night The British Garden:Life and Death on your Lawn is worth watching in iPlayer if you didn't see it.
