Went down the lakes today.



Nearest i got to a little egret. Surprised it never flew off as i was in full view.

I did wonder what the small bird was jacksparrow. First time i have seen one of those, and all to brief as you said. Will take more notice next time.

They were in between the grapevines placi by the hotel. Had a better view this time.

Nice to see. You can see why all the saplings have to have a plastic tube around their trunk for the early years.
