Chris's stepdaughter has really hit her stride now. She delivers her pieces to camera with great confidence and authority. I read somewhere he is pushing to get her a permanent position rather than just super sub. If Michaela was dropped there would be no tears from myself.

I agree js, that megan is very good and confident. I don`t think that anything will happen yet. If Michaela is pushed out some might say it stinks of cronyism. And if Jillian is pushed, well being a woman of colour all hell could break loose. But, and a big but, Chris and megan could do work together for another channel.

All in all a good two weeks of autumnwatch. Did enjoy it, with plenty of interesting videos.

Springwatch is back on Monday 30th of May. For three weeks.

Surprised no one commented about springwatch. My own take is that it has to be one of the best i have ever seen. Did enjoy it, and tried to ignore that silly woman.

I only watched about six programs out of the 15 broadcast. It followed much the same pattern as in previous years but cemented Megan's position to full time presenter. That which I watched I quite enjoyed.

Gillian will be back for Autumnwatch so i have read. She had to pull out again due to other commitments.

Autumn watch is back. Tuesday 25 October @ 2pm over on BBC2, for four nights.

Winterwatch is back. Jan 17th BBC2 for 8 episodes.
