Not yet - this new ferry company is a bit of a trial. There are limited dog spaces and because they missed 3 sailing freight takes priority (They don't have a dedicated freight boat) so passangers get shuffled - the first sailing with a dog cabin was the 22nd! the slow day sailing takes 11 hours - it really isn't good enough and the politician responsible for negotiating and 'encouraging' this contract should be unceremoniously booted out. Luckily it means I ge to spend more time with daughters and sproglette and I don't have to be back. Not even sure when Ill get to Poole next as the fast ferry from there is even more poorly provided for.

That sounds an appalling state of affairs... I take it the politicians brother runs the ferry company?
I'd never thought of the troubles travelling with a dog, never having had to do it, seems to be a nightmare..... perhaps you should just slap a saddle on and ride him home lol
