I have an obsession with ISO. I use that to govern the shutter speed... no idea why. Re aperture that's a baby that sorts itself out to what ever. I have enough problems juggling two balls :)

Ahh, I do it the other way, auto ISO, but select shutter and aperture. I'm rarely below 1/1250 unless it's pretty dark, or in shadow, and with anything likely to fly off, I'm usually a minimum 1/2000. I think the kingies flying were 1/4000. The denoise software is so good nowadays, I have max ISO set at 12800 :shrug:
