Micro Plastics

Post by johnd83 »

Anyone watching springwatch last night will have seen the piece about the use of micro plastics in beauty products and shower gels. I for one was very surprised that for one they exist and secondly the damage the cause for wildlife. I check my own shower gels and two of mine had the poly... Ingredient in which I will not be using. I would be interested to know your views also.

I found this website / campaign and there's a list of products that I shall go through properly to see if I can do something about it. The green list is a lot longer than the red list which is good.

Just viewed the programme ... it seems a lot of it comes from plastic waste of all sizes, which is being continuously broken down.

Just going to 'JooMoo's' Beat the Microbead site ....
