Thanks JS! I went to bed early and woke up at midnight, thirsty but feeling better. According to what I've been able to fish out of internet websites and AI it seems to be 'Cardiac Asthma' maybe.Jacksparrow wrote: Wed Oct 29, 2025 8:19 pm Just rest and take things easy. A chat with your doctor may produce an answer. Sometimes various medications can work together to produce a nasty surprise.
I had just removed my FM Loop Antenna from my bamboo balcony pergola before it hit. Maybe I breathed in the dust from dried bird poop (and hopefully not H5N1) in the doing. 'Maggie' the silly Magpie always lands on our blue and white striped marquise, peeks down over its edge to see if the Wood Pigeon is there and then jumps down onto the antenna with her 1.7 kg weight, tipping over the antenna to get to her feed dish of broken suet ball pieces. Her tray is next to the Pigeon's seed tray. The Magpie got fresh with the Wood Pigeon and got a wing crack; now she's afraid of the pigeon. Haha!
I have to find a better way of mounting the antenna but until then the larger birds have unrestricted flight access while the Tits are lamenting at the loss of their favorite perch for the cracking of sunflower seeds; it also gave them added predator protection.
If my situation worsens I will seek out my GP but don't want other such attack on the way there and back alone either. Alas there are no competent heart / lung specialists in my region.
After the COVID Era half the doctors I knew and worked with at our local hospital left. The half which stayed were quacks and the new replacements also. Plus the new management there restricted all ambulant clinic services to the well to do with special, price insurance.
I worked there in 2019 as a janitor and had a slight heart attack while mopping up the Cardiology Heart Lab and ended up there myself but my colleuges were able to stop the attack with blood thinning injections before it did any damage.
Thank Heavens!
Good Night and thanks!
