Hi PB! Bacon Rolls sound tasty but I'm not sure how to make them: Is the cheese wraped with bacon, baked and then eaten so or are they served on a bun?PimperneBloke wrote: Sun Sep 21, 2025 7:30 amNot only cake, but bacon rolls before we left home too![]()
I'm quiete hungry today and I'm in the process of baking soft, 100 gram buns out of: Rye, Spelt (Dinkel), Whole Wheat plus bread flour. I do also have middle Gouda cheese and slab bacon in the fridge. Sorry if this is slightly 'off topic' Haha!

Ooh, no, no cheese Charles. Freshly baked crusty ciabatta roll, a slather of butter so it melts, a smear of tomato sauce, and thick cut smoked back bacon, enough to dribble down your chin when you bite into it

Alas all my buns are light as clouds!
