It must be the day for Male Chaffinch

Your Chaffinch seems to have two growths just at the base of it's beak. I believe they are prone to that kind of thing.

How interesting - I didn’t see that. We always try to clean the feeders and I’ll make sure we give this one a good clean, just in case

I do tend to enjoy watching herons , nice close shot SM

I was hoping it would catch a big fish, the water was very low and big fish kept jumping. The heron flew off...
