Great stuff. A hoglet , a one footed starling plus a sparrow with string on his legs and much more. Should get an Oscar

Thank you Js. There were two starlings with a missing leg and a half missing one. Guess the sparrow got that from collecting nesting material. And at last, managed to get the gull in the garden. Looks like a last years juvenile.

July has been an eventful month, with the cameras catching some interesting things. Like a not so common bird at the ground feeder. A large mammal just passing through. And not least, Did my camera record the hottest day in the country on the 18th July? unofficially of course. Find out at the bird bath.

Amazing variety again. The gulls look huge!
And an amazing cameo from a badger! Great to see the hedgehogs thriving though. At one point it looked like a parent with a couple of youngsters which is encouraging to see.

Thank you Kev. Unfortunately the hedgehog numbers have gone down in recent days. But that can happen. Picks up again in September or so. Plus i have never had juveniles this early. So could see a later brood in the next month or so. The badger never turned up again, which i was kind of glad about. The gulls have been coming in for the last month or so. They are not a problem and clean up any left over hedgehog food. July was a good month in the garden.

One of the best so far. For me the star of the show was the Rose-coloured Starling.

Thank you JS. Yes the rosy starling was a sight to behold. I never seen it again after that, and no more recordings on the camera.
