Enjoyable as ever. Thank you willpar.
I was interested to see the Toadflax which doesn't usually flower until August at the earliest up my way. Some exotic poppies which I assume are escapees. Dunno on the caterpillar,the bigger ones are often moths.

The caterpillar is that of a Drinker Moth

V. surprised to see uneaten strawbs.
My brambles are out too.
My untutored eye tells me (I think?) that the butterfly at 7.17 is a bit special. Is it a swallowtail type ??
From the angle of the rampant E.Pea it looks as though it's climbing up the house !!
Very good and lots of colour.

Hi Placi, thanks for looking. The butterfly i am quite sure is a comma. Although from the angle it looks a bit more exotic. It was a lovely little bunch of strawbs. I tend to leave them there for the wildlife. I like the pea colour, rather soft and delicate.

Very good Kev. I keep telling myself I should get up early and see it with the naked eye but lose my enthusiasm once I'm in bed.
