Better last night. Like the Pine Martens. And wildlife Kate`s garden looked nice in the summer.

I lost a little patience with it last night. I appreciate they have to cater for all age groups and abilities but starting last nights show with a "Telly Tubbies" skit did not sit well with me. It probably seemed a hilarious idea in the hotel bar the previous evening but do they really want us to take it seriously after that. Before anyone suggest I need to get a sense of humour I already have one but it has matured beyond children's telly.
I'm not bothering tonight.

I think it has lost its way a bit. Only watched some of it tonight.

I think the entire BBC has lost its way. Dumbing down seems to be the official policy these days no matter what the programme.

I just don't think there's enough going on in nature at this time of year in the UK for them to really make a show out of it. Springwatch works because there's tons going on with nests and predation and migration. In Autumn, everything comes to a halt. It's just about caching.

Let's see what Winterwatch brings....

Last night was better, but to be frank I am glad it is all done and dusted. Must be one of the worse I have ever seen.

Didn't they show that shark item the night before? I didn't see the point of showing it twice. Maybe didn't have enough to fill the time so decided to put their favourite clip in again.

I'm tempted to say it is time for the brand to be rested. The childish excitement every time a Badger sticks a head out of it's sett I find difficult to deal with as we've seen it all a thousand times over the years and I find myself thinking they are struggling to bring anything different as the waters are pretty well fished out.
I don't know what the viewing figures are at present but I suppose not everyone is an old curmudgeon like myself and they must be holding up.

Was not expecting to much with winterwatch last night, looks like that is what was delivered.

It does seem we are to lectured relentlessly about climate change. I'm not a denyer but I don't know if I will stay watching for the remainder of the week.
