I have managed to get a video of the echium by turning the camera around. Did not know I could do that. But here it is a full length video of the plant. Flowers are nearing their end now.

The triffid seems a bit prone to a high wind, Willpar ?? You'll need a telegraph pole to stake it.
Very impressive - the seeds will scatter near and far (especially far).

In my daily paper today was a photo of a person's Echium like willpars. It was over 14 feet tall
