Not sure but maybe a Black Darter - I go the impression of a black rather than blue insect in flight

Welsh ones were cancelled - we've got 3 big dog shows over the next 14 days and then water tests in September. He has a good cooling coat and has spent most of the time snoozing in any available breeze or on a cool mat in front of a fan and being cold hosed - sensible dog. comes to life once the sun goes down
