Lovely show of blossom, Placi and Willpar
Noticed the first anemone and dandelions in flower yesterday. The bluebells are in bud and I saw the first daisy in flower in the garden earlier in the week

Just noticed one of my early Clematis has buds and an open flower

This is called Propertius.

The '2 varieties' cherry popped into blossom today. A little bit sparse this year

- the birds will have to ration them I think. I never get any anyway

I don't know if anyone remembers me mentioning the 4 Buddleia Buzz shrubs I bought about 4 years ago. I had 2 of each and put one of each out the back and one of each in matching pots out the front.
All had been a bit spindly until this year.
Now I have a monster

Are you planning on keeping The Monster in situ or planting it out at some stage ??

If you do decide to plant any of them out make sure you pick a spot with room to expand. I hack mine ruthlessly every Autumn and it comes back every Spring taller and wider than the previous year
