Saw first butterfly last week at a distance. Think it was a Peacock because of the main colour.

Must have been a convention somewhere close - Orange Tips. Didn't count them but I reckon I saw about 7 or 8 in the course of today. First this season :)

It has been a good week for Butterflies. Orange Tips, Large Whites, Brimstones and some small blue ones either Holly Blue or Common Blue(I never got close enough for a proper ID) an a single Peacock. :)

They're all quite rare - the Devonshire Technicolour Daytime Moths (DTDM). Very localised.

The fine weather has brought out some nice Butterflies. 2 Brimstone and 1 Red Admiral thus far. :)
