What was very noticable this afternoon after the rain was loads of slugs. Not the black ones but the khaki coloured ones which seem to predominate these days.

'Wasn't today it was last night.
Watched a prog I'd recorded t'other day about Sir Winston Churchill during the course of which he was showed pottering around in his garden. He was hand-feeding a nuthatch !!!
I replayed it 'cos I couldn't believe it :eek:. Now that's A First.

Seem to be lots and lots of crane flies around. Not the daddy longlegs, haven't seen one.
Crane flies resting on the brickwork front and back. S'pose it's the calm weather.
