Not seen any here yet JS, but they had better be good fliers with all the cats around here.

Spoke to soon, got home from a walk and there were two fledgling starlings in the garden.

The little blighters are everywhere now, flying into windows and forever squawking. I had to evict one from my garage today

I envy you. I saw 1 lone starling fledgling few days ago and was getting ready for the noise and usual mayhem but I haven't seen any since. I heard the familiar sound that (and maybe the next) day and nothing since than. The silence is deafening. Very unusual

I'll gladly send some in your direction. The latest development is my faithful blackbird is having to find food elsewhere as the hoards flock to any food put out like a plague of locusts.

I had a young 'un fly into the patio doors this evening. I heard the thump and went to look and it was on it's back kicking helplessly. It is my practice to leave birds that have just had a window strike to see if they'll recover and fly off. Happy ending as when I checked again it was back on it's feet and shortly after flew off.

A lucky birdy JS, glad it recovered.

Put the food out this morning and looked out around fifteen minutes later, must have been around thirty odd fledglings on the hedge and at the feeder. Don't think have seen that many in one place before.
