Makes me so happy to hear that JackJacksparrow wrote: Sat Aug 07, 2021 8:09 pm It is 2 months since the last sighting but Walter turned up this evening. Still coping well finding plenty to eat under the hanging feeders.
I wonder why that is JackJacksparrow wrote: Thu Sep 23, 2021 8:37 pm feral Pigeons have been visiting my garden for at least 20 years. In recent years the average number was 15 per visit. Three visits per day was the norm during the summer and two in winter.
Today and every day this week there were no visits whatsoever![]()
The piles of dropped food under the feeders are getting ever higher.![]()
I know I have cursed them on this forum many times but I am genuinely missing them.

Could it be that someone had started taking potshots at them and scared them off. I honestly don't know and I'm grasping at strawsButterfly wrote: Thu Sep 23, 2021 9:12 pmI wonder why that is JackJacksparrow wrote: Thu Sep 23, 2021 8:37 pm feral Pigeons have been visiting my garden for at least 20 years.
