My credit card is from the Co-op because it is a special RSPB one. The Co-op donates so much to the RSPB depending how much a person spends.
This is not a lot in my case.

Had a letter in June saying that the two institutions had agreed that the product is no longer sustainable and would cease on 31 August.
This has duly happened and whilst it didn't mean much to the RSPB in my case I'm surprised that it has stopped. Maybe not enuf folk signed up - I joined in 2008 but don't know when it began.
Bad luck for the RSPB

I don't know of any other credit card which operates any similar wildlife scheme.

The Co-op has had a bumpy ride in recent years and I wondering if donating money to the RSPB was taking a little too much of their profit margin. :(

Quite so, cap'n, and the crucial statement in the letter is "... both parties agreeing that the product is no longer sustainable."

Maybe The Co-op cried poverty to the RSPB.

It's a pity though 'cos every little helps :(

Our Co-op closed years ago. In its place Council built a Leisure Centre (swimming pool, gym etc) This closed after 18 months for essential repairs which are only just started, 5 years late.
