A Starling roosting overnight in their usual nesting site to avoid the rain!

Very sensible I would say. I knew some species use nesting boxes for winter roosting.

Yes indeed, keeping an eye the camera I can see that the same individual is roosting there every night, regardless of whether it's raining.
