Nice video. The person doing the video has a North American accent. Perhaps it is a juvenile American robin.

That's what I thought, Willpar. The cameraman is US or Canadian so it's not a British (or even European) robin.
The fluttering wings reaction was very interesting. Typical - get a human to do the work !!!

I am trying Placi but at present they're finding my irresistible offer of lovely mealworms totally resistible. I see them coming and going and ignoring the offer. I shall persist.

Persistence is everything - one day the penny will drop.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've often wondered why I only get one male robin demanding baby food each Spring. I mean, where's last year's Best Mate ??
But today it's happened for the very first time and I now have Bobbin and (I think) his dad coming for food and it's not pretty. Dad wins the fight each time and Bobbin is becoming a small haunted figure who lands on the windowsill with an audible scratch, grabs the mealies and runs.
Thing is, I'm running short of worms now that I'm feeding 2. I've ordered some more but the BH is in the way and I'm scared to go into the kitchen

I have slightly re-located the mealie feeder and BINGO it worked. Both birds are now taking mealworms to the nest and any trespassers spotted are being seen off violently. :smash:
