The Hog nadgers must have been busy this evening. I had one foraging at 6.30 in broad daylight. It looked perfectly happy stopping occasionally for the odd titbit.

Been around three weeks now since I have had hedgehogs in the garden. Perhaps they will return in the autumn to get some extra weight put on.

Mine are still coming but in the dead of night. The food has been disappearing and CCs are to found around the garden including the feeding area.

Hi JS, don't know what it could be, they can go awol during the summer, but now is putting on weight time in readiness for the big sleep. Has been some new fencing go up but that was months ago. Have not had a badger visit for several years now.

Never expected the hedgehogs to go into hibernation, which was quite early for me if that is what they have done. But another thing have noticed is that there has been no juveniles in the garden this year. Does no mean there were none, just that they have not come to the garden.

I had one juvenile appear this year and it is still visiting most nights. I think there are others because of the number of CCs I find. I have gone quite a few nights with the food not being taken. 
I think my hedgies have retired for the winter so I've taken in the food bowl.
