SWIFTS, SWALLOWS AND HOUSE MARTINS

Since i spotted my first swallow of the new season, i had not seen any more. Even though we had good weather, that was until this morning. Spotted two flying around over the village.

Great news. The rest of us will get them by about mid-June.

Seen a few more swallows this morning. Which got me thinking, there will be plenty of mud for nest building.

Mud galore !! They'll have a housing boom.

Seen my first house martin this morning, whilst out for a walk.

I forgot to report I saw my first Swifts on Thursday. I think they were passing through as I've not seen any since.
