Can't get over how quickly it grows !
We're all becoming keen viticulture-watchers :munch: :yummy: . Hang on a minute ...... who actually treads the grapes ??!!

Here is the vine today. Reaching for the stars. I have had to curb it's ambitions to the left and will soon need to stop it getting much taller as it can be affected by the wind.

The vine today. I have been lopping off bits and bobs to keep it in it's corner and keep it low.

It'll be a few weeks before I can estimate the number of bottles. There will definitely be grapes but the quantity is open to question.

Nearly a month since the last update and the vine has not stopped growing. The photo shows it after two or three prunings. Happily the grapes are growing too. :)

Does it continue to grow down the other side of the wall ?? If so, who lives there and is that adjacent chateau for sale :) ??

Phenomenal growth - this unending sunshine must be good for a premium crop of extra-juicy, sweet, large grapes, leading to a full-bodied wine with an extra-specially fragrant, full-bodied, lingering bouquet.
Not that I know anything about it .

The other side of the wall is the chateau's walled garden (well, partly walled and the remainder fenced  )
If the warm weather persists we may have an early vintage  . The earliest recorded was in August but is more usually in late September. The
grape variety does not produce large grapes but lots of sweet little ones with pips. :)
