No, didn't see the jackdaws on the One Show, JooMoo - would like to see them doing that - a bit like sparrows :D

Can't post the close up of the Crow, showing its beak! I keep getting the message - "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."
So I must be in some breach of rules :haha:

This link shows the difference between Crows and Rooks. The shape of the beak is the givaway. :)

Scientists have discovered how to differentiate between a rook and a crow. A rook has five wing pinions whereas a crow has six, thereby proving that it's all just a matter of a pinion :unsure:

Never had so many 'crows' crowing it here every morning - always wonder what they're on about :blackbird:

Saw a jay this morning early. Not in the garden; I was bowling along and it flew in front of the car and then very obligingly landed in a tree so I could tell what it was :D.

Kestrels are nesting in a girrrrderrr in the Forth Road bridge. That's nice :nod:
