Yay, a sparrowlet for me.
It's not too young, just a little unsure of landing on the branches. And he's rather fluffy too :D

That is an early Sparrow Joomoo. I think my families are still in the nest at present. :)

I had a single Sparrow fledgling today. It tweeted pathetically while the rain sluiced down :raining: . I didn't see it being fed but there were plenty of adult birds around so I suppose one of them was attending.

I think I have baby jackdaws in my chimney.
I'm hoping it's a nest and they are just being noisy, but it is hard to tell.
I can hear more than one making a right racket when I'm outside and it is sounding hollow. I've not seen a parent nearby, but there's plenty about
I can't hear them in the lounge. I'm hoping that when they can fly they'll get out.

My pot is t-shaped like this

Why can't you hear them in the lounge, JooMoo ? Has the chimney been blocked up ?
Hope the weather stays warm .....

I think our chimney is a fake one. When we had our gas fire put in, it is all enclosed and cut off down the bottom. Our house is only 10 years old, so never had a working fire place.
